What Is Flexographic Printing? 

Flexographic printing (or “flexo” printing) is a process where flexible rubber or photopolymer plates apply ink to substrates like LDPE film. It’s ideal for packaging because it’s fast, scalable, and adaptable to various film types and thicknesses.

The Process Step-by-Steps 

1. Plate Creation: Each color in your design gets its own printing plate. 

2. Ink Transfer: Ink is applied via anilox rollers to the plate, then to the film. 

3. Drying: The printed film passes through dryers so the ink cures quickly. 

4. Inspection: Final rolls are visually inspected for registration and clarity.

   
   

We can print up to 2 colors in-line at high speeds during bag conversion or use dedicated 4+ color flexo stations before bagging.
